501(c)3 Youth-Serving Organizations

Grant winners will receive the following:

 ~Character-resource materials worth $750 and $250 cash to be used for the purchase of additional materials. All materials will align with the Character Council of Western New York’s 49 character qualities, including:

~ Five online accesses to character-virtue library featuring the Character Council’s 49 character qualities.  A free tour of the library can be taken by visiting: http://www.library.characterfirst.com;

~ Binder with set of 49 character-quality bulletins.  Two additional BONUS bulletins included: Character and Virtue;

~ Age appropriate character-based conversation game from Harvest Time Partners Foundation.  Information about game can be found at: http://www.harvesttimepartners.com under Family Resources;

~ 100 Pocket Guides containing the Character Council’s 49 character qualities;

~ 50 Character Council of Western New York Quick-Start Guide Booklets full of suggestions about how to build a comprehensive character-education focus in your school;

~ FREE Character Council of Western New York School Membership, which includes among other things, virtue poster sets for each classroom and common areas of school; Member schools will also be able to send a second Team (4 students/1 advisor) for FREE to the Champions for CHANGE Youth Leadership Conference for Middle and High School Students. (A $125 value)

~ A recognition banner to hang in your school honoring your commitment to character-excellence development.
